DraftFCB appoints Alistair Ross as head of ideas

DraftFCB has appointed VCCP’s Alistair Ross to the newly created role of head of ideas.

Ross will be responsible for helping to devise ideas across the agency’s range of accounts, and then applying the thoughts to the relevant channels.

He will report to Mark Fiddes, the executive creative director of DraftFCB, who joined the agency in January last year.

During his time at VCCP, Ross held the role of integrated creative director, working across the agency’s O2 and Texaco accounts.

Previously, Ross spent four years at Publicis, where he oversaw creative direction on the agency’s British Army, Pernod Ricard and Yeo Valley accounts.

He has also worked at Lowe London and Ammirati Puris Lintas.

Fiddes said: “Alistair has got the mindset and the experience that perfectly fit with who we are and what we want to achieve and deliver.”
