CocaCola launches free mobile credit campaign
Coca-Cola has launched an on-pack promotion which offers 50p mobile phone credit with every purchase of Fanta, Dr Pepper and Sprite.
Millions of cans and bottles will carry a unique code which credits consumers’ accounts when sent to a short code via SMS or entered online.
The promotion, which works on all UK mobile networks, has a limit of eight redemptions per person. It will be marketed both on packs and via a TV ad.
The campaign was devised by ad agency BD Network with the mobile credit managed by mobile agency Sponge.
Cathryn Sleight, marketing director for Coca-Cola Great Britain, said the promotion was an innovative way to engage with teenagers.
“We know mobiles are integral to their lives and we wanted to bring them both value and a point of difference that will fully engage them with the promotion,” she said.
