Product development in Digital has evolved significantly in recent years and now represents a broad range of disciplines and skills. The Digital products look to deliver tangible improvement in functionality, user experience, engagement and conversion. They can be anything from a white labeled or bespoke technical application, a development of a campaign micro site, a redesign, an integration of tools or an introduction of a new commercial proposition.

The Digital Product Manager role is now a central part of the Digital team and will interact with internal marketing, technical and commercial teams as well as 3rd parties. These are the people who know how to make a web site successful, effectively increasing traffic and dwell time to maximise the sites relevance and earning potential. The key here is the balance of skills between commercial, technical, marketing, design and project management.
