DIGITAL RECRUITMENT NEWS 'career information and news for Digital professionals'

Welsh website launched

A Welsh language news website has been launched by the Daily Post Wales newspaper.

The new website will sit alongside its English counterpart and offer regular news updates for the north Wales region, those working in digital jobs in London may be interested to know.

The Daily Post Wales is owned by Trinity Mirror and the Welsh arm of the business owns five local weekly papers in the area.

Rob Irvine, publishing director of Trinity Mirror North Wales, said the Daily Post Post is "committed to supporting the growth of the Welsh language".

He added: "We hope that visitors to the site will embrace the opportunity by sending us their stories and comments in Welsh."

The website will be run from new offices close to Llandudno.

According to the Guardian Trinity Mirror North Wales amalgamated all its Cardiff-based titles into one editorial operation last year.
