New designs for Brahma beer

Brahma beer is being launched with four different label designs, all created by British consumers.

Brand Republic reports that design agency Boxer ran a competition to come up with different bottle designs which are based on Brazilian culture.

A panel of artists then chose the winning designs which according to Brahma's senior marketing manager, Nicola Trainor, all get "under the skin" of the Inbev beer brand.

She explained: "The designs are outstanding and serve to reinforce our belief that through smart thinking we can create ways to make an emotional connection with our consumers."

There will be a number of launch nights held around the UK - in London, Glasgow, Bournemouth and Liverpool with entertainment provided by samba bands, capoeira dancers and DJs.

The special designs will be mass produced for the public and will be seen on over 1.3 million bottles and 800,000 take-home packs from today (August 15th).

Perhaps of interest to those in online marketing London jobs, Brahma's advertising campaigns have won many awards at industry festivals, including Cannes.
