News Corp to build online news consortium
News Corporation has held talks with major publishers to create an online consortium to charge for news, according to reports. News Corp chief digital officer Jonathan Miller is understood to have met major US publishers including Hearst, The New York Times and The Washington Post, according to reports in The Los Angeles Times. Aviva is looking to boost staff numbers in its UK Life marketing team by 10 per cent as the company seeks to increase consumer knowledge of its services. Twitter to track location of Tweets
Twitter is planning to add a location feature to its microblogging platform, opening up new opportunities for marketers in the process.
